La Groumelle

La Groumelle is an 18th Century Mas that has been lovingly and sympathetically restored, incorporating all modern conveniences without sacrificing any of the character or architectural details.

Set in secluded grounds of over 6000 sqm, the house is built over three levels and comprises 6 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, 2 salons, a cave, a large kitchen and a laundry room.

La Groumelle is set in grounds of approximately two acres beyond which lie vineyards, fruit orchards and woodland. Directly outside the house is a large graveled terrace looking out across La Groumelle‘s own vines to the valley beyond and shaded by several mature trees.

Ree Yong

Ree-Yong spent over a year researching materials, developing designs and testing prototypes before launching her first pet furniture collection.

Born in the Netherlands of Dutch, French and Chinese descent, Ree-Yong grew up surrounded by animals and throughout her childhood helped to raise four dogs, five cats, two rabbits, two hamsters, nine birds, a turtle and numerous fish. Today, as well as her five-year old daughter Nikki, she is raising a five-year old mixed-breed called Coco, named after the legendary designer and Molly, the two year old rescue cat. 

Previously she worked for Dutch design retail store COPI, co-owned the trendy home accessories store Het Warenhuis in Amsterdam and worked for IKEA.
